Services in a Time of Coronavirus
A note from Pastor Rebecca
We gathered outside after worship on the last Sunday in July and decided to forego inperson worship in the sanctuary during the surge that we are now seeing in Humboldt County. We don’t want you to think of this decision as a step backwards, but rather a step sideways to allow us to do something a little different and fun this summer to keep our church family together and share some fellowship with one another.
The plan is to hold an online service, streamed live from our sanctuary as we did last summer, though the service will be at 10 am, rather than 9:30. We will make a few adjustments to keep the service under one hour. Then at 11 am, we will meet in the courtyard for an informal gathering
that will feel more like family camp. One of our families will present a story from the Bible. I will do a short meditation. The praise band will sing a song or two. And then we’ll have an intergenerational activity and a special treat for the week.
The services can be viewed on our Facebook page.
If you missed a service, you can catch the latest on our YouTube Channel.
